Learn more about super

Super can seem complex. Documents contain a lot of jargon, and making decisions around your financial future can be daunting. There are lots of resources available to help simplify the process of understanding super. Below are some websites that you might find helpful on that journey.

UniSuper

A valuable source of information on the super product that you receive as part of your employment. Pages such as their products page and their learning centre can help you find helpful information. Their complimentary On-Campus Consultant service can also help you understand more about your super.

We also co-ordinate with UniSuper to host free lunchtime presentations to help increase your super literacy. Why not check out what’s happening on a campus near you.

ASIC’s MoneySmart

Provided by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), this site covers many aspects of financial literacy, including Super + Retirement, Investments and property. It is also written in easy to understand and simple terms.

Super Guru

The Association of Superannuation Funds Australia (ASFA), is the peak policy, research and advocacy body for Australia’s superannuation industry. Super Guru forms part of ASFA’s efforts to educate Australians on super and how they can engage with it. They cover a lot of super topics, and tend to include a tip for each.
