As a new international student, it is essential that you attend Orientation, which includes the International Student Briefing, your specific Program Information Session, and the International Welcome Reception.

In these compulsory sessions, you’ll be provided with all the information you require about settling into university, life in Adelaide, your health and wellbeing, and a question and answer session about your student visa. You’ll also meet your Academics and other new students, as well hear about the requirements of your degree and how to be successful at UniSA.

International Student Welcome Reception (Social Event)

The University of South Australia invites all commencing international students to join us for a welcome reception. This is your official welcome to Adelaide and to the University with a ‘Welcome to Country’ from a Kaurna elder and a special address from a senior Academic leader. The afternoon will provide you with the opportunity to connect with other new and current international students over light refreshments and fun activities. We look forward to seeing you there!
