STUDY ABROAD & EXCHANGE STUDENTS 

As a new Study Abroad or Exchange student, it is essential that you attend Orientation, which includes the Study Abroad & Exchange Student Briefing, International Student Briefing and your Program Information Session. Please see the below information on all the events you should attend which are specifically designed for International Students.

Study Abroad & Exchange Student Briefing

Briefing One (Open to all new Study Abroad & Exchange Students, best timing for students in Division of Education Arts and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and IT, Engineering and the Environment)
Date: Monday 16 July 2018
Time: 9.30am - 12.00pm
Location: City West Campus, Sir Hans Heyson Building, Level 4, Room 8 (HH4-08) 

Briefing Two (Open to all new Study Abroad & Exchange Students, best timing for students in the Business School)
Date: Monday 30 July 2018
Time: 12.30pm - 2.30pm
Location: City West Campus, Sir Hans Heyson Building, Level 5, Room 8 (HH5-08)

You must attend one of these two briefings if you are studying courses with UniSA on a short-term program (1 to 2 semesters). At this session we will talk about issues unique to Study Abroad and Exchange students and cover some important information about these programs. This is also the chance to be introduced to your Local Buddies! Hear about the exciting events planned for this semester and what your buddies can do for you. We will play some games and a prize is up for grabs for the best buddy group on the day.

International Student Welcome Reception (Social Event)

Event One (New International Students, except UniSA Business School)

The University of South Australia invites all new international students to join us for a welcome reception. The afternoon will provide you with the opportunity to hear from Dr Laura-Anne Bull (Pro Vice Chancellor: Student Engagement & Equity), current international students and connect with other new students. We look forward to seeing you all there!


Urimbirra Wildlife Park & Victor Harbor Tour

Visit the SA Whale Centre, or take a ride on the horse-drawn tram across the causeway to Granite Island.
