Career Development Planning is an essential ingredient which will compliment your university studies. If you need advice on developing your own career plan or assistance to discover what career path/options are right for you, then career advice is what you need.
We can also provide help with your job search strategy, applying for jobs, developing a resume/cover letter, or preparing for an upcoming job interview. Furthermore you might simply need advice to find your own work placement.

UniSA Career Services has an extensive suite of online resources to help and guide you to make decisions on your career pathways.
There are useful tools to help you:

- prepare for an upcoming interview, including an interactive interview simulator.
There are also many other tools available such as: career and self-assessment tests, developing your elevator pitch, and videos of real employers’ advice on their views on finding the right job.

Workshops cover a range of topics, including how to create a quality resume and cover letter, how to nail a job interview, how to network effectively, and how to find part time work.
These workshops are held online on a regular schedule.

If you have questions or need guidance on career development/pathways, change of program or course, choosing an elective or want to develop a job search plan, please book an appointment with a Career Adviser. You can book a face-to-face or phone appointment, and you will need your student ID to make an appointment online.
You can book up to four weeks in advance, which is a good idea during busy periods of the year when appointments fill up quickly.
