Installing Cisco AnyConnect Client

Important:

The use of all Information Technology (IT) facilities at the University of South Australia, including the UniSA wired and wireless networks, is subject to the University's Acceptable use of Information Technology (IT) facilities policy


Installing the Cisco AnyConnect Client is a one-off process required for first-time setup of a VPN connection to the University network.  After the Cisco AnyConnect Client has been installed you can run the client from Start Menu on a Windows device.

  1. Make your way to: https://vpn.unisa.edu.au/
  2. Enter your UniSA Username
  3. Enter your UniSA Password
  4. Click the Login button

  5. Your mobile will be sent Okta/MFA verification which you will need to enter
  6. Click Continue

  7. Click Continue for Authenticated Via Okta pop up

  8. Click AnyConnect on the left navigation
  9. Click Start AnyConnect

  10. Click Download for your system detected version
  11. Follow Cisco AnyConnect installation instructions

  12. Once installed you will be able to connect via the Cisco AnyConnect VPN with Multi-Factor Authentication.
