Remote Desktop access requests are ONLY considered in very specific circumstances where connection to a device is required for research or critical business functions.

All other requests will be denied, including requests due to working from home.

I understand and acknowledge that it's my responsibility to ensure the information I have provided above is accurate and have already discussed this change with involved parties.

I understand that my staff account may be given remote desktop access to the workstation specified above.

I understand using my workstation remotely exposes my computer to much higher security risks.

I understand Malicious Spyware and Trojans can affect a computer without my awareness if I have remote desktop enabled.

I understand and accept that I need to ensure that my data is stored appropriately on a network drive or OneDrive for Business as using remote desktop connection creates a security risk.

I understand and accept that remote desktop access is granted at the discretion of the Deputy Director: ICT Infrastructure and Cyber Security, who must approve my request before it will be actioned.
