Permitting a Blocked Sender

To remove a sender's address or domain from your blocked senders list, and add it to your Permitted Senders list:

  1. Go into the Managed Senders section of the Mimecast Ribbon
    Instructions on how to install can be found here.
  2. Click Blocked in the left hand pane
  3. Find required address/domain by either scrolling or filtering
  4. Click Permit to the right of the required address/domain

  • Permitting a address/domain from Blocked will explicitly skip spam checks for that sender and ensure it ends up in the inbox without delay (providing there are no potentially harmful attachments included).
  • Removing an address/domain from Blocked means the emails will reach your inbox, but still subjected to spam checks etc.
  • Addresses/domains remaining in Blocked means none of the emails sent from these will ever reach your inbox.
