How can I tell if I have voicemail enabled on my extension?

If you can see the Manage Voice Mail button at the bottom of Account Information in Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click File in the top left hand corner
  3. Check at the bottom of Account Information for Manage Voice Mail button: manage voicemail

If you can not see this option it is because of one of the following three reasons:

  • You do not have voicemail enabled and will have to complete the online telephone directory entry page. 
  • You are currently looking in a shared mailbox Outlook profile. You will have to contact the IT Help Desk for assistance with such things as PIN reset etc.
  • You are a PhD student. You will have to contact the IT Help Desk for assistance with such things as PIN reset etc.
