Zoom (Video Conferencing)

The University has purchased Zoom licenses for all UniSA staff and currently enrolled students. Zoom offers a modern, reliable and intuitive communications package to facilitate collaborative online classrooms and multi-participant video conference tool.

Zoom offers the following key features to enable a high-performance online collaboration tool:

    Bring HD video and audio to your meetings with support for up to 300 participants in a single meeting.

    Multiple participants can share their screens simultaneously and co-annotate for a more interactive meeting.

    End-to-end encryption for all meetings, role-based user security, password protection, waiting rooms, and place attendee on hold.

    Record your meetings locally with searchable transcripts.
  • Streamlined calendaring
    Support scheduling or starting meetings from Outlook, Gmail, or iCal.
  • Team Chat
    Chat with groups, searchable history and integrated file sharing. Easily escalate into 1:1 or group calls.
  • Integration with learnonline (Moodle) and learnonline (UniSA Online Moodle)
    Zoom meetings can be scheduled and viewed directly from the relevant learnonline environment, allowing virtual classrooms to be an integrated part of the learning environment.
