It is possible to print from a range of devices across the University. These can be either personally or university owned devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets and other mobile devices.
The Follow-You-Print-Q means that you can collect your print jobs from any printers located on campus, within 8 hours of hitting print.
NOTE: The below will prevent you from being charged for the unwanted print job(s).
For step-by-step instructions (including screenshots) can be found on the how to delete or manage Follow-You Print jobs page.
Yes. Whatever device you use to print (UniSA owned or personal device) you will need a UniSA username and password to utilise a UniSA MFD (Multifunction Device e.g. printers, photocopiers & scanners) on any campus.
You can also use your ID card (staff or student) to log onto the UniSA MFDs and collect printouts or scan.
NOTE: If you have not used an MFD in the current calendar year, you will need to type in your UniSA user name and password on the device in the first instance. From then on you will be able to tap your ID card to collect your printouts.
Please select your operating system/device from below:
Yes. At the printer, you will be able to type in your UniSA username and password to collect the printouts.
However, tapping your ID card on the printer is much faster and more convenient than typing in your credentials.
NOTE: If you have only just received your ID card (new or replacement) it takes an additional 24 hours for the ability to tap and go to be activated on the card.
If you have lost your ID card altogether you will need to see either Campus Security (for staff) or Campus Central (for students) to cancel your old card and receive a new one.
Report any problems to the IT Help Desk on ext. 25000.
Standard access MFDs/printers located in offices, Library, pools & barns on all campues, have A3 & A4 available.
Some units have specialised printers which are only available to staff and/or students within their unit. To find out if your unit has one of these printers you will need to check with either your Course Coordinator and/or the unit.
NOTE: The IT Help Desk has no control over who can and cannot use these specialised printers.
If you are wanting to print on a larger paper size you will have to seek this service outside of UniSA.
