While connected to UniSA Student Applications

When you browse to the file system from within one of the Apps as part of the UniSA Student Applications on vapps.unisa.edu.au you need to be aware that the file structure will look similar to that shown below:

NOTE: The storage provided by the UniSA Student Applications environment is only temporary storage. Files that are not accessed for 10 days or more will be erased. It is highly recommended that save your work regularly and once you have finished working on a file that you copy it to a local storage device.

  1. The Documents directory highlighted below is part of the UniSA Student Applications environment. The Documents folder is located on University storage, not the local drive of the host computer  You will be able to read or write to this directory.

  2. The hard drive of your computer is mapped by the virtual application as shown below. To save to your C: drive (Local Disk) you would open the drive highlighted below:
