UniSA Legal  is an inhouse legal practice responsible for providing legal advice on all aspects of the University's operations including:

  • Contracts, Tenders, Memorandum of Understanding
  • Legislative interpretation
  • Funding and grant arrangements, including research
  • Intellectual property, including registering Trade Marks
  • Commercialisation and licencing
  • Assistance with interpretation of, and compliance with, UniSA statutes, by-laws and policies.
  • Advice on matters which have or may have legal implications for the University

Contracts Execution and Grants Management

The Grant Management team is responsible for the execution and management of all Category 1 Research Grants and are based within Research and Innovation Services. The team provides all post award support services for ARC, NHMRC and other Category 1 funding streams and is also responsible for CRC related administration. The team administers the necessary paperwork required for compliance with funding rules by overseeing the execution and management of agreements and monitoring the reporting process in conjunction with Business Units and Researchers.
