Main Competitive Scholarship Rounds

Major rounds

Two main scholarships rounds are conducted each year, one for domestic applicants, and one for international applicants.  Applications close on 31 August for international applications, and on 31 October for domestic applications.  Applications are submitted for commencement in the subsequent calendar year, e.g. an application received for the major scholarship round in 2020 would be for commencement in 2021.

Minor round

If some scholarships remain unfilled after the conclusion of the major rounds an additional minor round may be held.  When a minor scholarship round is held it is generally only for domestic applicants, and the closing date is the 30 April for commencement in the same calendar year.
