The Executive Director: People, Talent and Culture is the Responsible Officer for ensuring that UniSA complies with the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017, and the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 and the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Regulations 2019 in relation to all staff related matters.
The Director: Student and Academic Services is the Responsible Officer for ensuring that UniSA complies with the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 in relation to all student related matters.
The Responsible Officer provides support and advice to the UniSA community about children’s protection matters and assists the University in developing and maintaining a child-safe environment.
