Examiners Thesis - Soft Bound 

All examiners thesis are required to be soft bound with a clear plastic sheet on the front and a card backing. 

Final Thesis - Case Bound

All final thesis are required to be case bound with faux leather (Leathercraft) or cloth (Buckram).

Gold or Silver lettering can be placed on cover and spine / cover only / spine only.

Text on spine specifications:

• Text on spine must have a minimum of 50 sheets and fits 64 characters (50 pages single sided or 100 pages double sided)
• Text on spine for 140 sheets or more fits 120 characters (140 pages single sided or 280 double sided)

Case Binding specifications:

• Must have a minumum of 20 sheets (20 pages single sided or 40 pages double sided) 
• Maximum of 350 sheets. (350 pages single sided or 700 pages double sided) 
• Thesis that contain more than 350 sheets is required to be split into seperate volume(s)

Note: Download to view Case Binding colours and stock.

Important things to note: 

• Margins should be set at 2cms (outer pages) and 4cms (binding edge)
• Double sided pages need to be set as mirror margins
• All pages printed black must be converted to grey scale (failure to do so may incur additional fees)
