Returning to Campusbuilding.png

The patience, professionalism and collegiality of our staff as we have responded to the challenges of COVID-19 has been extraordinary. As the State and Federal governments start to ease some of the restrictions we’ve been responding to, we are now planning for the return to on campus activities. The health and wellbeing of our staff and students continue to be of paramount concern and our planning has taken into account both the potential for a second wave of infection and a commitment to minimising the impact of transitioning staff back to campus.

Our approach will be planned and staged to provide opportunity to assess the impact of larger gatherings and to enable us to respond appropriately as we progress. To support detailed planning and to enable preparations to get underway, we have developed these online resources to support staff and their supervisors so we can ensure staff receive advice and support as soon as possible. We have also developed this Manager's Guide for Returning to the Workplace (pdf 873kb) to assist managers in planning for staff to gradually return to our campuses.

We will continue to build on these resources so please check in regularly to the COVID-19 Updates and COVID-19 FAQs for Staff pages, where the return to campus is specifically addressed and advice is updated frequently.

We remain committed to supporting the safety and wellbeing of our staff throughout the return to working on campus.  If there is anything else that would be helpful to you, please let us know by emailing ptc@unisa.edu.au.

With warm regards and best wishes

Jane Booth
Executive Director: People, Talent & Culture
