New starter? What to do

Starting a new job can be a busy time, and we know that your time is limited. So here are 5 quick things you can do to make sure your super works for you.

  1. Check your Offer of Employment and ensure that you understand which UniSuper division you are eligible for. If you don’t have your offer handy, you can contact your People Talent and Culture Team.
  2. Tailor your super account to suit you by completing your membership application form, or through UniSuper’s MemberOnline.
  3. Register for UniSuper’s MemberOnline portal. This will help you keep track of your super and manage your account online.
  4. Check your insurance. Your super account most likely includes some insured benefits, but do you know what you’re covered for or if you have the right level of cover?
  5. Choose your investment strategy. If you have an accumulation component in your benefits, your investment choice will determine how your benefits grow.
