Senior academic report

As part of your application for promotion you are required to request and submit a report from an appropriate pre-approved senior academic.  The nominated senior academic will normally be either a Dean of Programs, Dean of Research, Executive Dean, Director of an Institute (FII, CRI or CCD), Director of a Unit (TIU, RIS and UniSA Online), your academic supervisor or another appropriate senior academic.   

The report will be based on your application (which you will need to provide to the nominated senior academic) and should include comments on the evidence you have provided in the areas of contribution, observations on the statement of claims made in relation to how you have modelled and realised the Core Attributes of UniSA staff and your achievement relative to opportunity as appropriate.  It will also include any other relevant information that may assist the panel in their decision making. 

You can include up to one page of your comments on the report.  These should be uploaded in the relevant section of the online application.  A further response from your nominated senior academic is not required.

You should seek approval for your nominated senior academic from: The Executive Dean for academic staff located in Academic Units and the Provost & Chief Academic Officer for academic staff located in the Teaching and Innovation Unit and UniSA Online.   The Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research and Enterprise for academic staff located in UniSA Cancer Research Institute, Research and Innovation Services and the Research Portfolio.
