Inclusive Leadership

Diversity is reality, but inclusion is a choice. Diversity is all around us but we decide as leaders whether or not to make full use of diversity around us. Inclusive leaders listen, observe and learn from people. In this session, Steven Asnicar, Director of Diversity Australia use experiential learning techniques that challenge traditional mindsets and engage leaders, managers and employees through honest discussion. This approach ensures that the session is tailored to the needs of the team and the individuals within the team, allowing participants to challenge and adapt their behaviours in a safe environment.

Learning outcomes

Participation in this workshop will provide UniSA leaders with:

Strategies to create high-performance through leveraging diversity of thinking, perspective and backgrounds of team members
Knowledge of leadership behaviours and work practices to maximise the benefits of diversity and inclusion
An understanding of how to create higher levels of psychological safety for their team
Confidence and commitment to create momentum towards a more inclusive workplace and culture
