Leading and Embedding Inclusion for Senior Leaders

Facilitator: Anna Lee
Target group: Level D+ & HEO9+
Duration: 7hrs

As a senior leader at UniSA, you probably know that the challenges of our current environment require a proactive approach to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce. And you’re probably all too well aware that for many in your organisation, inclusion is a long way down the priority list.

Unfortunately, role modelling inclusive behaviours in your daily interactions isn’t sufficient to create an inclusive organisation – as a senior leader, you need to be taking a proactive approach at the team, organisation and stakeholder levels. This workshop will equip you with:

 Learning Outcomes

  • Increased awareness of your own Leadership Shadow when it comes to inclusion – what are you doing or not doing, saying or not saying, that will drive inclusion in your organisation?
  • An understanding of the five levels of inclusion that require senior leaders’ attention – intrapersonal, interpersonal, team, organisation and stakeholder
  • A simple model for talking about inclusion, both within and beyond your organisation.
  • A Personal Action Plan for your next steps as an inclusive leader.
