Disability Inclusion Employee Advisory Network

Expressions of Interest (EOI)

UniSA is committed to supporting active participation by employees in structures and activities that bring about cultural change in the workplace.

We are currently seeking ‘expressions of interest’ from individuals who are interested in joining the UniSA Disability Inclusion Employee Advisory Network (EAN).

Network members will:

  • Provide advice on matters relating to access, communication, participation and advocacy to create an inclusive community.
  • Identify issues affecting people with disability and promote an awareness and understanding of these across the University
  • Develop, implement and monitor the UniSA Disability Inclusion Plan.

You may self-nominate for membership based on your capacity to meet the criteria below:

  1. You work for the University of South Australia,
  2. You have sound knowledge, experience or understanding of disability access and inclusion issues, and
  3. You are willing to work in a positive manner with diverse stakeholder groups to progress the vision and goals of the University of South Australia.

As part of the University’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Framework, it is essential that the Network consists of members from a diverse range of backgrounds with varying experiences, in order to ensure a wide range of views and perspectives are considered.

Prior to lodging an expression of interest, we encourage you to review the EAN Terms of Reference to familiarise yourself with the expectations and responsibilities of members.

If you are interested in nominating, please complete the online expression of interest form below.

It is anticipated that the first Network meeting will be held in November this year.

Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 5pm Friday 12 November 2021.

Please note: The Disability Inclusion EAN will have a pre-determined number of places available for membership. In the event that you are not selected as a member your knowledge and input will still be appreciated, as future opportunities for participation in disability-related initiatives will be available.
