Funded Opportunities

The following opportunities, with additional funding to support students in undertaking them, are available. The grants outlined below are in addition to the UniSA International Travel Grant and OS-Help, providing you meet eligibility criteria.  

Toulouse Business School - Single Summer (June/July) School 2019

Three $2,500 Endeavour Short Term Mobility Grants are available for summer (only eligible for single summer school in Toulouse) program at Toulouse Business School located in France. In addition, all students are eligible for a UniSA International Travel Grant of $1,000 providing they meet the criteria. Interested students should note that these grants are valid up until 30 June 2019 and must be used for the Single Summer at Toulouse Business School in 2019. Applications for Business School Mobility grants are available only for the Summer program and close 30 Janauary 2019.

Fees: As an exchange partner with the University of South Australia Business school you do not have to pay tuition fees to Toulouse Business School, however you will be enrolled in a UniSA course for this short term exchange program. For this to apply to you will need to be nominated to participate by UniSA. Please note that there will be a program fee which is in addition to your tuition fees - which include and are not limited to: accommodation, meals, transportation and cultural visits.

Kedge Business School - France - Full Semester Exchange - SP5 2019

Three $5,000 Endeavour International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) Grants are available for both postgraduate and undergraduate business school students to undertake full semester exchange at Kedge Business School in France. Interested students should note that these grants are valid up to SP5 2019 and applications for this study period is 11 January 2019. Applications for Business School Mobility grants close 30 January 2019.

RMIT Vietnam - Full Semester Exchange + internship

Choose to study your full semester exchange at RMIT in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam which offers a combination of academic and professional experience with 12 weeks study (3 courses equivalent at UniSA) plus an internship for an additional 12 weeks (1 course equivalent at UniSA).

This model would work best for Undergraduate Business School Students (not suitable for law students) in SP5. See outline below:

  • Late June to September - Students will study 12 weeks, 3 courses (13.5 units at UniSA)
  • October to December - Students will complete a 12 week internship (full time, Monday to Friday) 1 course (4.5 units at UniSA)

RMIT Vietnam has strong industry connections and will provide internships with employers such as: CPA Australia, Deloitte Vietnam, Ernst & Young Vietnam, HSBC Vietnam, L'oreal Vietnam, PricewaterhouseCoopers etc.

Grants: UniSA Business School Students are eligible for a $8,000 New Colombo Plan grant ($7,000 for coursework and $1,000 for internship) as long as you undertake your experience before end of June. In addition students are eligible to apply for Business School Mobility grants close 30 January 2019. Other options are OS HELP Loan, an Australian Government loan scheme to the amount up to $7,880 + $1,050 if undertaking Asian Language courses. 
Criteria applies to all grants mentioned above.

RMIT Vietnam Internship & Full Semester Exchange Program

ACICIS - Indonesian Business, Law and Society - Full Semester Exchange, January and June

ACICIS offers this full semester exchange Indonesian Business, Law and Society Program (IBLS) is a semester-long program hosted by the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII), Yogyakarta. Taught in English, this program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of Indonesian business, law and society at regional and global levels, as seen from an Indonesian perspective, while developing necessary critical skills to enter their respective fields. The IBLS runs in two intakes each year: from August to December, and from January to June. It includes one month of intensive compulsory Indonesian language and culture classes, at beginner, intermediate or advanced levels and you are able to choose to either do full-time study only or a mix of study and a 3 day a week nine week long internship.  Click here for further information and to apply.
