Funded Opportunities

The following opportunities, with additional funding to support students in undertaking them, are available. The grants outlined below are in addition to the UniSA International Travel Grant and OS-Help, providing you meet eligibility criteria.  

Rennes Business School - Study Tour - May & June 2018, Jan 2019

Ten $2,500 Endeavour Short Term Mobility Grants are available for postgraduate business students to undertake a study tour or short term exchange at Rennes Business School located in France. In addition, all students are eligible for a UniSA International Travel Grant of $1000 providing they meet the criteria. Interested students should note that these grants are valid up until March 2019 and must be used in the May & June 2018 study tours. Applications for Business School Mobility grants close 30 January 2018.

Fees: As an exchange partner with the University of South Australia Business school you do not have to pay tutition fees to Rennes, however you will be enrolled in a UniSA course for this short term exchange program. For this to apply to you you will need to be nominated to participate by UniSA. Please note that there will be a program fee which is in addition to your tutition fees - which include and are not limited to: accomodation, meals, transporation and cultural visits.

Kedge Business School - France - Full Semester Exchange - 2018

Three $5,000 Endeavour International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) Grants are available for both postgraduate and undergraduate business school students to undertake full semester exchange at Kedge Business School in France. Interested students should note that these grants are valid up to SP2 2019 and applications for this study period is 1 August 2018. Applications for  Business School Mobility grants close 30 August 2018.

CRCC Asia Internships - China, Japan & Vietnam - 2018 

Thirteen $3000 New Colombo Plan grants* are available for undergraduate students to undertake an internship with CRCC Asia in 2018. CRCC Asia is the leading provider of internships in China for undergraduate students and graduates. CRCC Asia arrange student placements with companies in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tokyo and Ho Chi Minh City, across a variety of sectors including: finance, business, engineering, green technology, law, marketing, pharmaceuticals, NGOs, journalism and several others. ACICIS - Indonesian Business, Law and Society - Full Semester Exchange, January and June 2018  

ACICIS offers this full semester exchange Indonesian Business, Law and Society Program (IBLS) is a semester-long program hosted by the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII), Yogyakarta. Taught in English, this program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of Indonesian business, law and society at regional and global levels, as seen from an Indonesian perspective, while developing necessary critical skills to enter their respective fields. The IBLS runs in two intakes each year: from August to December, and from January to June. It includes one month of intensive compulsory Indonesian language and culture classes, at beginner, intermediate or advanced levels and you are able to choose to either do full-time study only or a mix of study and a 3 day a week nine week long internship.  Click here for further information and to apply.

Grants: New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants of $5,000 are available to ACICIS member university students participating in this program in 2018 and 2019. 

Legal and Justice Internship - 6 weeks, January to February 2019

UniSA has partnered with RMIT University a fellow Australian Technology Network to provide a Justice and Legal studies internship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to our law, legal and justice students at UniSA. The internship is delivered by The Global Student which aim to provide students with an immersive professional experience within legal workplaces in Malaysia. 

This is a rare opportunity for legal and justice studies students to engage in international professional experience in Asia, network with Australian alumni living in Malaysia and attend meetings with the Australian High Commission and the Malaysian Bar Council. Throughout the internship you will gain real world experience in Malaysian Law and Society in Government, non-government and not for profit workplaces. 

Applications for the internship are competitive and should you be deemed successful into the program you will be matched with a 6 week internship opportunity in Kuala Lumpur by the Global Student in line with your academic requirements, personal interests and career aspirations. This internship is equivalent to one 4.5 unit elective in your program (with an academic approving this within your study plan at UniSA).
