Issue 11
3 July 2018

NAIDOC Week is coming up, exchange applications are now open, and we've got some special student offers!

NAIDOC Week, held annually each July, celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

It is a great opportunity for Australians from all walks of life to participate in a range of activities and to support their local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

This years theme, 'Because of Her, We Can!' celebrates the essential role that women have played - and continue to play - as active and significant role models at the community, local, state and national levels of our society.

You can check out the registered events in your area here. The celebrations for #NAIDOC2018 will run from 8-15 July

Study overseas in 2019!

Choosing the right exchange opportunity can be tricky but there are a myriad of benefits and reasons why you should study overseas (like employability, cultural experience, and personal development, to name a few).

The available opportunities are aplenty! Where will you go on exchange for a full semester, summer or winter school, internship, volunteering trip, or study tour?

UniSA also has a range of funding options available to make exchange possible for you in 2019 (criteria apply):
  • ISEP Endeavour Grant ($5000)
  • UniSA International Travel Grant ($2500)
  • UniSA Business School Mobility Travel Grant (up to $2500)
  • OS-HELP Loan (up to $7880 for Asian destinations, and up to $6665 for elsewhere)
Applications are open now for SP2 2019 and close 1 August 2018.

For more info, submit an online enquiry, have a look at the Global Experiences FAQs, or, if you're a business student, come to an information session.
