We are giving away $100 a week, every week, for 5 weeks! 

For your chance to win all you need to do to is make a submission to the UniSA+ workflow on Careerhub (and have it approved by the UniSA+ team) between 9:00am (ACST) Wednesday 1 August and 5:00pm Friday 31 August.

Your submission can be under any of the three pillars: Global and Social Engagement, Leadership and Enterprise, or Self-Development. The more approved submissions you make, the greater your chance to win!

One approved submission will be selected at random each week and the winner notified by telephone during the following week.

New maths resources available on the Study Help site

A number of new maths resources have been added to the ‘English and Maths’ module on the Study Help site to help you better understand maths-based concepts and their applications. Get practice exercises with answers, watch relevant videos, access topic/program based resource links, and much more. Opportunities to get assistance from Study Help PALs for Maths is coming soon!

Struggling with your tax return? USASA can help for free!

Regular tax appointments will be available on UniSA City East & West campuses from now through to the end of October to help you complete your tax return. All you need to do is:
  1. Confirm you're eligible
  2. Book your free appointment
  3. Bring any relevant documents to your appointment (such as all payment summaries, receipts for tax deductible items, donation receipts, health insurance statements, bank interest summaries)

If you're unable to make appointments at City East or West, please call 13 28 61 to find out the location of the closest tax help centre to you.

$6K to grow your idea

Calling all students/entrepreneurs/early startups/creative minds… The Innovation & Collaboration Centre (ICC) at UniSA have launched Venture Catalyst Space - a six-month program that will develop and grow innovative or disruptive ideas to generate accelerator-ready businesses. 

The program includes:
  • A series of workshops
  • One-on-one mentoring and group sessions
  • Workspace at the ICC in UniSA’s new $247m Cancer Research Institute 
  • A stipend of $6,000 per company and the opportunity to pitch for a fully-funded overseas tour to the US or Europe to network with other space industry primes, investors and other startups. 
Traditional and non-traditional space startups are encouraged to apply. More information on the application process and eligibility criteria can be found here. Applications are open now and close on Friday 10 August with the program starting in September.
