Issue 16
12 September 2018

Taking care of your physical AND mental health can seem daunting, but there's always help out there!

Bring a mate, share some chips and start a conversation – it could change a life!

R U OK? Day is dedicated to reminding everyone that any day is the day to ask, “Are you ok?”, and reach out to, support, and check in on the health of the people around you.

This year, batyr are bringing the event to UniSA!

At every campus we're running an event for you, the students, to come and enjoy some hot chips with a friend and check in with them. We'll provide the chips, the great vibes, the comfy seats and all the smiles; you supply the conversation.

Come along, enjoy yourself and be a part of something.
You could be the difference that someone needs.

WHEN & WHERE
11:00am - 1:00pm on every campus.

City East - 11th of September - Plaza

Pitch your ideas... and then take them to London!

  • Are you an entrepreneur or starting a new venture?
  • Want to practice your pitch in front of a crowd of potential investors?
  • How about a trip to London to pitch to an international audience?
Apply now for Pitch@Palace, a competition to give entrepreneurs and startups the best connections to develop their ideas and innovations… and you might end up in London!

It is free to take part and if your application is successful, you will be asked to pitch your idea for three minutes to a panel of judges and potential investors (as well as The Duke of York, Prince Andrew) at Pridham Hall on 26 November.

Winners from UniSA’s event will partake in a Bootcamp in Brisbane and those successful from there will be flown to London to pitch at St James’ Palace.
