Campus Fair 2020

Come and explore (or re-explore) what campus life is all about.

Campus Fair is full of freebies, festivities & fun, which aims to immerse you into university life, bring together people from all over campus and make lifelong mates. Campus Fair connects you with all USASA and uni services, including student clubs, events, wellbeing, career and volunteer opportunities, leadership, and many more.

Not free during your Campus Fair? No worries – you can join in the festivities at any of the four metro campuses.

Mindfulness Practice Sessions

Join our mindfulness community and participate in different activities each week. This is a time to learn, connect and enjoy the benefits of calming our minds.

All sessions are held at City East Campus, Room C5-49, from 3.00 pm–4.00 pm:
  • Session 1 (19/3/20) – Being present and expanding awareness
  • Session 2 (26/3/20) – Connecting with our bodies and the world
  • Session 3 (2/4/20) – Mindful eating and understanding thoughts
  • Session 4 (9/4/20) – Noticing avoidance and staying on task
  • Session 5 (30/4/20) – Calming our minds
  • Session 6 (7/5/20) – Understanding and calming emotions
You are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as you like.

The UniSA Study Support team offers semester-round workshops designed to help you do well in your studies. They are free and available across all metropolitan campuses and online. 

You can get help with:

UniSA Careers Expo 2020

Are you looking for a job or graduate role? Seeking unpaid placements for course credit? Looking for vacation work? Or just simply want to take the next step in your career, and network with industry? Then look no further! 

UniSA has partnered with the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) in Adelaide to deliver a one-day UniSA Careers Expo with ‘The Big Meet’ on Friday 13 March 2020 from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm at the Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace. The expo is FREE to attend but registrations are essential.

City West Community Garden

Come and join students and staff at events held in the rooftop Community Garden between the Kaurna and Hawke Buildings, and be part of greening City West campus.

Events will be held every Wednesday, 10.00 am–11.00 am, from 4 March to 8 April and 29 April to 20 May in 2020.

You can expect:
  • Coffee cart and barista 
  • Vegan catering
  • Planting activities
  • Local harvest share

SA Challenge Intervarsity Tournament

The 2020 SA Challenge kicks off next month! Students from UniSA, Flinders University, the University of Adelaide and Torrens University will contest nine sports over four dates for the overall SA Challenge Cup. 

Anyone can get involved! Head to the UniSA Sport website for all the details (including sports and dates), and to register now to represent #TeamUniSA and fight it out against our cross-town rivals!

UniSA's NEW Veterans’ Engagement and Education Program

Are you a Veteran, current serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force member or reservist, First Responder, or their immediate family member?

UniSA’s Veterans’ Engagement and Education Program (VEEP) is a new program designed to provide support to students whose studies might be impacted by their service and/or related commitments. Through VEEP, you will benefit from a range of personalised support, including connection with mentors and peers, flexible study plans, tailored career development, access to work experience in defence and non-defence organisations, and more.
