UniSA Sport gym and facilities are now open
From this week, you can start using the UniSA Sport gym and facilities on campus again!

We have implemented a COVID-19 Safety Plan for all UniSA facilities to ensure the health and wellbeing of our members. There will be some changes when you return to the facilities, such as gym and pool capacity limits, a booking system at Pridham Hall and increased hygiene protocols.

FREE appointments with the Legal Advice Clinic
Need some legal advice? UniSA’s Legal Advice Clinic is offering free online appointments via confidential and secure videoconference from Tuesday 16 June until Thursday 16 July. Appointments are available from Tuesday-Friday and you can book by calling 8302 7436 and leaving your name and contact number.

The Clinic can help you with advice on a range of matters including criminal, family, debt claims, car accidents, tenancy and neighbourhood disputes.

IT tips and tricks for your online exam
Check out these top IT tips and tricks to help you go through your online exams as smoothly as possible. Don’t forget, if you have any questions on the exam itself, email your Course Coordinator and for any PC issues, you can contact the IT Help Desk.

Do your practice exam
The practice exam ensures you are familiar with the format of the actual exam, and that you have all the necessary PC tools installed.

Download Office 365
Many exams require the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Word or Excel to complete the exam on your local device.

Power up
Make sure your laptop is plugged into mains power and fully charged prior to your exam in the case of any power interruptions in your local area. If you lose internet connectivity, consider tethering your device to your mobile phone internet as a backup.

Login to learnonline
Login to your learnonline (Moodle) course site at least 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled exam to be ready and prepared. If a link to your exam does not automatically appear in your browser at the scheduled start time, refresh your browser and the link should appear.

Plan how to use your time
Use the additional hour wisely for IT review and try to complete and submit your exam at least 5 minutes before the scheduled end time to avoid any potential upload or submission issues.

Best walking trails near UniSA campuses
Did you know there are a variety of scenic walking trails near all UniSA campuses? As you will be back on campus soon, here is a list of the best walking trails near each campus to make it easy for you to exercise while studying.

City West – Torrens Linear Park Walk
Go on the shorter loops that take you alongside War Memorial Drive and the Riverbank Footbridge.
City East – Adelaide Botanic Gardens
See the Amazon Waterlilies, a tropical greenhouse and a Mediterranean garden in a two-kilometre loop.
Mawson Lakes – Lake Circuit
This flat and easy walking circuit is suitable for walking, jogging or cycling and is wheelchair accessible.
Magill – Morialta Falls Plateau Hike
Get amazing views of the gorge and plains throughout, stop at a few lookouts and gaze at the waterfalls.
Mount Gambier – Blue Lake Grand Circuit
See spectacular views of the lakes, visit the Centenary Tower and enjoy the views of the region.
Whyalla – Wild Hill Dog Hike
Take in the views of Whyalla and the nearby hills, featuring red and purple sandstone that is part of the traditions of the Indigenous people in Whyalla.
