Hello, hello! We're officially back for Study Period 5 and well into the second half of 2020 and boy, what a hectic one it's been so far. But here we are, ready to dive back into uni life next week!
While you're all in different stages of your uni journey, with some of you back on campus next week, some of you still studying online, and some of you starting with us for the first time, we'd like to kick the new semester off by welcoming you all. This issue, we've got you covered on everything from how you can get your head in the game with some study support services to where you can grab lunch (for those back on campus). Now
that we’re heading into the second half of the year, you’re also probably considering your future plans. We're incredibly proud of how much our graduates have achieved so, from now on, we'll start spotlighting some of our alumni to hopefully help inspire you to see that the possibilities after uni are endless...

Turning a passion for slow fashion into ethical activewear
|
|
By day, UniSA education graduate, Thalia Kouts, is a primary school teacher. By night, she’s creating her very own functional, fashionable, and sustainable activewear brand, Ethica.
With Ethica, Thalia is able to integrate her passion for the environment with her passion for teaching. Sustainability often aligns with the lessons in Thalia’s classroom where, most recently, her students learnt how glass and plastic can be melted down and turned into other products – just like her activewear! |
