Tips to help you succeed in your course
As you navigate through your studies, the amount of course content that you need to learn can get overwhelming. How can you set yourself up for success and stand out from your peers?
On season 3 of UniSA's Study Room podcast, UniSA lecturers Dr Sarah List and Dr Ron Hoenig share their tips on how to succeed and stay well-connected with your course content, your peers and your program staff. |
Take responsibility for your own learning by taking initiatives where you can |
Think of your tutors and lecturers as your trainer - they're there to help you achieve your goals, but they also need some effort from you |
Prepare yourself for different styles of teaching and find a way to make the content work for you regardless of who's delivering it |
Build a two-way communication with your peers and program staff, and communicate respectfully |
Understand your own strengths and gain confidence in yourself by participating in activities to help you with your future career |

Manage your appointments in-person or online
Did you know that a range of UniSA services are available for both in-person and online appointments?
This provides you with the flexibility to change your appointment mode, so if you are unwell, you can simply request to have your appointment virtually instead. If you need to reschedule, make sure to check for online appointment availability as there is often a shorter wait time for these.
Don't forget that masks are mandatory for in-person Counselling and Access & Inclusion appointments, and if you are clearly unwell, you may be asked to reschedule to another time.
To change your appointment, please email SEU@unisa.edu.au, or visit the website to book a new appointment. |
