Help us choose a movie for our free movie night
We're holding a special movie night on 14 October and we need your help choosing which movie to watch!

Do you prefer animated movies such as Minions, Inside Out or Encanto? Maybe you're more into sci-fi movies like Dune? If you're not interested in either, we also have a teen comedy option in Booksmart or the documentary Happy Sad Man.

The movie with the most votes will be screened at the event, which will be announced with all the other details.

Check out our new Respect Month student zine
We've created a Respect Month zine to showcase the collages and convos we had with UniSA students at our on-campus craft events. We chatted about respect, consent and healthy relationships, and these collages represent what respect means to these students.

Big shout out to local artist and crafter extraordinaire Calamity Tash who helped facilitate the workshops.

Healthy eating hacks to help you stay on track
University life can be a busy time, trying to balance study, exams, social interactions and work commitments. As a result, you might find it easier to eat food that is quick and easy to get.

Making healthy food choices doesn’t have to be complicated, boring or expensive. Here are some cooking, shopping and storage hacks to help you get started.
Blue microwave icon
Invest in some basic appliances, such as a microwave oven, microwave steamer, sandwich press and rice cooker. You can use them to cook simple food such as fried rice, pasta, grilled vegetables, homemade hash browns and grilled chicken.
Blue list icon with pencil and paper
Plan your meals weekly, accounting for any events for which you won’t need to provide your own meal and ingredients that you already have. Then write a shopping list, including quantities so you don’t overbuy.
Blue bowl of cereal icon
Create a healthy breakfast by adding frozen fruit (cheaper than fresh fruit) to your plain porridge or Weetbix.
Blue steaming/hot chicken drumstick icon
Allow cooked foods to cool to room temperature before storing in the fridge. Divide large portions into shallow dishes to increase the rate of cooling.

Tim Rochford: From UniSA to Dyson
Growing up in the Adelaide Hills, Tim Rochford enjoyed making things with his hands and figuring out how to improve them. It may have taken him three goes, breaking his coccyx twice in the process, but he eventually perfected his own zip line in the back yard.

A UniSA alumnus who studied Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honours), Industrial and Product Design, Tim's first product design job was at Dyson, where he was part of the team working on Dyson's Airblade V and first robotic vacuum cleaner. He credited his job application success in part to having made his grad project instead of doing it digitally.

Tim is now the Asia Pacific Design Director at Schneider Electric, having also worked at Herman Miller and Samsung. He was also recently invited to be a presenter and judge on television program Australia by Design: Innovations which first aired in July this year, showcasing design and creativity at all levels, from large corporations to backyard inventors.
