Improving learning outcomes and experiences with PASS and ASR
Our Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) aim to help you understand key concepts and content within your course. Facilitated by students who have excelled in the respective course, our relaxed and informal PASS sessions are the perfect opportunity to review course material and learn from students who understand what you are going through.
If you're looking to make a difference in your learning experience, the Academic Student Representative (ASR) program is your chance to have your say – they are the gateway between students and Program Directors. By simply contacting your ASRs, you can provide valuable feedback and suggestions to improve teaching and learning outcomes, and help shape the future of your education. |

Marie Schultz: The creative mind behind WorldPride 2023 rainbow display
Have you seen the magnificent rainbow of colour beamed around the globe during WorldPride 2023? Meet one of the talented minds behind this stunning display – our UniSA alumna Marie Schultz. By seeing the rainbow proudly striped across the most famous landmark in the country, she wanted all people in the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond to feel seen and loved.
Marie's design career began when she completed a Bachelor of Visual Communications (Graphic Design) at UniSA in 2007 and left Australia to work as a Design Director and Art Director at big fish in London for nearly 10 years. Returning to Sydney in 2021, Marie pursued a long-held dream of studying photography, and in 2023 set up Great + Small Studio, an independent brand, design and photographic studio.
As
a gay woman, Marie felt it was an honour to engage in several design projects with Sydney WorldPride 2023 and create something that speak to the heart of the community. “I felt lucky to study at UniSA when I did,” says Marie. “I had some wonderful tutors who were inspirational and taught us with a Bauhaus school of thinking. Design constantly changes, but I feel anchored by that training; of learning to see, learning to make, and learning to understand people.” |
