You can share your views, thoughts and ideas on what attributes should be considered when building this vision. A decision to form a new university has not been made, so this is an opportunity to have your voice heard. |

SA Challenge is a chance for UniSA students to battle it out against our local university rivals for the SA Challenge Cup. If you can throw a flick in a frisbee game or attack a spiked volleyball, we need you!
Registrations are open for the following sports:

• Ultimate Frisbee (Mixed) – Friday 28 April
• Wheelchair Basketball (Mixed) – Thursday 4 May
• Basketball (Mixed) – Friday 5 May
• Indoor Volleyball (Mixed) – Friday 12 May

Master critical thinking skills for success at university and beyond
|
|
As a key component of learning, critical thinking is essential for your academic success and helps you become a better thinker. It allows you to make well-reasoned arguments in your essays or assignments.
Here are some tips for good critical writing:
1. Writing must be clear and concise. Keep descriptions to a minimum and avoid emotional language and jargon.
2. Select only the most important or controversial points to examine in detail and summarise the arguments.
3. Sequence the information in a logical order that helps readers to understand the line of reasoning.

Free flu vaccination available to all UniSA students
|
|
Book in for your free flu vaccination appointment through the UniSA Health Medical Clinic, with appointments available at various times during April and May. Experts are predicting that we may experience an earlier peak in cases this year and the flu vaccine can reduce the risk of extended down time from study and work.
On the day of your appointment, you will need to bring your student ID card, Medicare or Overseas Student Health Cover card, and wear clothing that allows easy access to your upper arm. Be prepared to wait 15 minutes after your vaccine. |

Are you feeling lonely or isolated from others? This workshop will help you understand how loneliness impacts your wellbeing, and provide strategies to manage the feelings of loneliness and isolation and feel better about yourself during this difficult period.
You will also learn how to challenge less helpful ways of thinking, as well as mindfulness skills and self-compassion to enhance coping and build resilience. |

Mental Health First Aid training to help you support our student community

UniSA is offering a series of free Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training as part of an initiative to support mental health and resilience of our student community. The training covers a range of topics that will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to recognise and address mental health problems in yourselves and support your fellow students.
