Showcase your artwork with USASA’s Art on Campus

Express your creativity and get recognition with USASA's Art on Campus! Whether you're enrolled in a UniSA Creative program or not, this is your chance to showcase your artwork to the entire UniSA community on campus. Artwork submissions can use any medium, including graphic design, illustration, photography, digital art, fashion/textile, and traditional art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpture and architecture.
By entering, you'll have a chance to:
• Exhibit your art as a part of a year-long outdoor mural at City West campus
• Have your work featured in the 2024 student diary
• Win one of two $500 vouchers

We are thrilled to announce that UniSA Open Day is back in full force in 2023 with events across all our campuses. In addition to presentations, tours and information booths, we'll have interactive demos, live music and delicious food. To make it all happen, we want you to be a part of the action!
We're calling on passionate individuals like you to volunteer at our major City West and City East campuses on Sunday 13 August, or join us at our Mawson Lakes, Magill, Whyalla and Mount Gambier campuses throughout August.
Ready to join our incredible team of volunteers? Simply fill out the online General Volunteers Registration Form by Friday 7 July. As a token of our appreciation, all volunteers will receive a lunch voucher, a UniSA t-shirt and a certificate of participation. |

Join the 2023 City-Bay Fun Run with Team UniSA
|

Take a break from the books in SP5 and get active with your mates! Come along to run, walk or stroll in the 2023 City-Bay Fun Run on 17 September.
Secure your spot by Friday 25 August on Team UniSA (choose from 3km, 6km, 12km or half marathon) and receive your exclusive team package which includes a Team UniSA singlet, access to the post-race recovery and breakfast station, a free student-led physio session at the UniSA Health Clinic and more. The first 200 UniSA students to sign up will receive 50% off their City-Bay registration. |

David Caon: An impressive career spanning 30 years in industrial design
|
|
From his time at UniSA to a career spanning multiple decades and continents, David Caon’s approach is to be an active participant in whatever he wants to do.
David enrolled in Bachelor of Design (Industrial Design) in 1996, motivated by his artistic abilities and fascination with cars. During the course, exposure to designers such as Mario Bellini, Philippe Starck and Ettore Sottsass, who made everyday objects stylish, encouraged David to make research part of his process, and their designs continue to be referenced in his work today.
Having
worked in Paris and Milan before setting up his own studio, David shared that his work now is “less and less about aesthetics”, and more about designing functional and usable products that people can appreciate and enjoy. Today you can find his name on the flatware, crockery, and woven blankets on Qantas, whom he has collaborated with for more than 20 years. He’s also recently returned to Adelaide to host a masterclass with UniSA’s Industrial Design students. |
