Student Mental Health Framework – we are getting close!
|
|
Your mental wellbeing is one of UniSA’s top priorities. That is why we’re developing the UniSA Student Mental Health Framework; a University-wide project to shape a healthier and more positive student mental wellbeing experience.
When we asked you to share your mental health preferences back in March, many of you indicated you wouldn't use support services due to being self-reliant or having privacy concerns. This highlights the importance of positive mental wellbeing education and creating a stigma-free environment so you can seek help safely.
Through this project, we will guide staff on how to prioritise student mental wellbeing and connect you with resources to support your mental wellbeing. Here are some of our key milestones:
•
More than 100 staff, students and external partners have contributed to this project. • More than 120 initiatives supporting student mental wellbeing have been identified across the University. • The framework is nearly complete and the ‘Wellbeing at UniSA’ website is being updated as a one-stop-shop for all things student wellbeing.
We're excited about the positive impact this project will create. Let's make mental wellbeing a priority together! |

UniSA’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Virtual Study Tour is back in 2024! This hands-on, immersive experience will challenge you and inspire you to tackle global issues head-on.
You'll work in a multi-disciplinary team on real industry projects. Leveraging your unique skills, you'll tackle global challenges like poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice through an SDG Start-Up project.
The study tour includes a range of virtual workshops and team experiences over a six-week period, from 16 September to 23 October 2024. You can receive 4.5 units credit for participating (pending Program Director approval), with fully-funded places available for eligible students (worth $1700) for a limited time only.
Don't delay as applications close on 8 August 2024. |

Introducing the newly revamped UniSA+ Award!
|
|
Want to be rewarded for your efforts outside of study? Or maybe you’d like to improve your leadership capabilities and build new skills?
Tackle the prestigious UniSA+ Award and be recognised for your excellent co-curricular efforts in self-development, volunteering and leadership development. You can tackle as many challenges as you like at your own pace, with recognition along the way and a formal UniSA+ Award signed by the Vice Chancellor when you’ve completed all three.
With a fresh new UniSA+ interface and structure, there’s no better time to get started. Begin your journey of growth today!
If you’re completing the previous UniSA+ and/or ASPIRE Award, you may complete them this year or request to
transfer your activities to the new system. The ASPIRE Award will no longer be offered from 2025 onwards, and instead these offerings will be included as part of the UniSA+ Award. |
