Adelaide University student update
|
|
As part of the project to create Adelaide University and smoothly transition students from the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia for 2026 study, we want to provide you with an update on data transfer.
In advance of this transition, work needs to commence to test and profile fields of data from both UniSA and UoA student records. As part of the systems development, data testing and profiling, it is necessary for some data held in student records to be shared in a secure environment across the three institutions. A detailed plan has been developed to support the safe and secure transfer of student records to the Adelaide University student system and this process will begin soon.
As
this work progresses, you can be reassured that it will be conducted in such a way as to ensure that legal, policy, compliance, security and privacy considerations are appropriately managed. Additionally, a similar approach will be developed to manage the transfer of alumni data and further information will be provided ahead of this activity commencing.
There is no need for you to take any action – the transfer will automatically occur – but we want to keep you up to date on this important step on our journey to Day 1 of Adelaide University. |
