What did they get up to in 2024? • G’Day Mates organised 13 events for 417 UniSA students. • Brekky Bar volunteers served more than 30,000 breakfasts across all campuses. • ASRs represented their peers in 40 academic programs. • UniMentors mentored nearly 5000 new students. • PASS Leaders delivered 718 sessions across 56 courses, supporting 700 students. • Study Help PALS created Instagram content that fostered more than 1000 interactions.
These

Announcing the winners of UniSA’s Student Volunteer of the Year Award
|
|
A huge congratulations to Reene Dahima and Lucia Rojas for winning the coveted UniSA Student Volunteer of the Year Award in 2024!
Reene has spent more than 200 hours in the past year volunteering at UniSA and the broader community, including helping people who have been released from incarceration to integrate back into society, providing social outings for the elderly and people with disability, and supporting children impacted by family mental illness.
As an international student, Lucia embraced volunteering roles that helped other international students overcome language barriers, boost their confidence, explore opportunities and scholarships, and enhance their prospects. She also assists elderly individuals with their shopping, and plays a role in creating workshops that strengthened connections with the Latin community. |
