Let your voice be heard this Wear It Purple Day
This Friday 29 August is Wear It Purple Day – a day to stand together with our rainbow young people and show them that they are accepted, celebrated and respected. This year’s theme “Bold Voices, Bright Futures” highlights the power of your voice in shaping the future, so if you’re ever in doubt, or simply need someone to talk to or get advice from, reach out to the UniSA Ally Network and make sure your voice is heard.

Our Allies are friendly, supportive students and staff who can answer questions about gender and sexual diversity, offer peer support and help connect you with useful resources and services. You can connect with them via email in the first instance, and depending on their availability, you might be able to organise to meet with them as well. Find a full list of UniSA Allies on the website and get in touch.

Adelaide University network go-live
As we move towards Day One at Adelaide University (AU), we’re working behind the scenes to integrate the networks from both foundation universities so students can study seamlessly across all AU campuses.

From 7 September, you’ll be able to connect to the unisa Wi-Fi network when at any University of Adelaide (UoA) campus. You’ll also start to see a new AU Wi-Fi network appearing across both UniSA and UoA campuses.

No action is required for now – you can continue using the unisa network as usual. For students continuing into 2026, we’ll share more information closer to the time about when and how to switch to the AU network.

If you have any questions or need support, please contact the IT Service Desk.

Transition study plan update
The distribution of study plans to students transitioning to Adelaide University has started and will continue until later in the year. Due to the complex nature of the activity, some students will receive their study plans before others, including those within the same program. Please be assured that you will receive your transition study plan prior to enrolments opening. You will receive an email directly when your study plan is finalised.

More information about the transition to Adelaide University was sent to you on Thursday 14 August from the co-Vice Chancellors. If you haven’t already, we recommend reading that email and checking the Student Path to AU on the Adelaide University website.
