Celebrating every contribution of UniSA student volunteers
This Friday (5 December) is International Volunteer Day, and this year’s theme, ‘Every Contribution Matters’, reminds us that every hour and every act of volunteering has a meaningful impact.

This year alone, nearly 150 volunteers contributed more than 3800 hours across our peer-to-peer programs at UniSA. From serving free breakfasts on campus to supporting new students as they navigated uni life, and everything in between, your dedication made a real difference and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you – to you and to all our student volunteers over the years – we hope you continue to make a positive impact wherever you go.

FOR ADELAIDE UNIVERSITY

New AU learning system
From Monday 5 January 2026, enrolled students will be able to access the new Adelaide University learning system – myLearning, which can be found via the new myAdelaide student portal.
Essential AU forms
AU student forms, such as leave of absence, reduction in load and standalone credit applications, are being added on our centralised student forms hub as they become available. This is your central hub to submit requests, appeals and updates securely.
Student technology update: Access, printing and data migration
From December to early January, key student technology systems including printing, logins, MyApps, OneDrive and Outlook accounts will transition to the new Adelaide University environment. While some changes will happen automatically, there are a few things to know about accessing your tools, printing on campus, and when to start using your AU Student ID.
Library changes over December and January
As part of the transition to Adelaide University, several temporary changes will affect Library services in December and early January.

Borrowing (including laptops and iPads) is only available during Ask Library staffed hours (9:00am – 5:00pm, Mon–Fri) from 15 December to 23 December 2025, and will be unavailable from 24 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.

Requests (including for items held offsite at Joint Store/URRSA) will be paused from 11 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, while interlibrary loan requests will be unavailable from 6 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.

Make sure you plan your borrowing needs early and place requests for any items you need now. See the full list of changes and reach out to the library if you need help.
Deadline for current payment methods extended
The deadline for making payments via your current invoice and payment methods has been extended until Monday 5 January 2026. After that, any remaining outstanding balance and credit will be transferred to your Adelaide University student account and you will receive instructions for making payments online when you receive your first invoice from Adelaide University. Check the Adelaide University website for more information.
iThenticate software update
iThenticate, the plagiarism detection software, will upgrade to version two in late December 2025. Please download and save any existing iThenticate reports you wish to keep by 12 December 2025.
Access and Inclusion at AU
Access and Inclusion will continue at Adelaide University. If you have an existing Access Plan, this will continue to be accepted in 2026. We will be working through a process to update Access Plans by the end of 2026.
System disruptions
As part of creating a consistent Adelaide University digital environment, most of the remaining UniSA systems will transition to Adelaide University from December 2025 to 5 January 2026. Over this short period, there may be disruptions in accessing some systems. In most instances system disruptions will be very short-term. Further details will be shared via email in the coming weeks. We are committed to keeping disruptions as minimal as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Temporary systems lockout
