From 27 May to 3 June, Australia will come together to celebrate National Reconciliation Week (NRW). It’s a time for us to learn, reflect, and explore how each of us can contribute to building relationships and communities that value Aboriginal Peoples, histories and cultures. We invite you to join us at one (or more) of the many events and activities hosted by UniSA – online and in-person – as well as those held across the South Australian community. Country Arts SA presents: Nunga Screen 2025
Immerse yourself in First Nations film at Nunga Screen 2025
UniSA is proud to once again host Nunga Screen in collaboration with Country Arts SA. Join us for a free screening of 6 short films from emerging and established First Nations artists, including Wiradjuri Star Dreaming, Barani, Second Chance, and Kumarangk – The Hindmarsh Island Bridge.

Following the online screening, you’ll enjoy a Q&A session hosted by Ngarrindjeri man Josh Trevorrow, Country Arts SA’s First Nations Arts & Cultural Manager and Filmmaker. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to celebrate First Nations culture, stories and language through film!

Aboriginal Peoples have been looking at the night sky and building knowledge of the stars for thousands of years. Join us in the Adelaide Planetarium at Mawson Lakes campus, and learn how to find the stellar patterns as seen by Aboriginal groups throughout Australia.

You'll hear about the Dreaming stories that relate to the night sky, and learn about how constellations like the Southern Cross and Orion are seen by Aboriginal Peoples. There are only a few spots left! Grab your free ticket today and get ready to stargaze.

In this online self-development workshop, you’ll explore how to be a good listener and communicate with empathy and impact. Volunteer at Adelaide University Open Day
Open Days are one of our most exciting events of the year, giving future students and their families a chance to experience university life, explore our programs, and connect with the people who make our community special. In 2025, Open Days will be hosted for the first time as Adelaide University. We want to make it amazing — and we need your help to do it.

We're looking for passionate, friendly student volunteers to be part of these major events. It’s a great opportunity to share your experiences and build valuable skills. There are a range of roles available across all the Open Days, so get involved!

Dates for Open Days 2025 are:
Adelaide City: Sunday 27 July, 9am – 4pm
Magill: Wednesday 13 August (evening event)
Mawson Lakes & Roseworthy: Sunday 17 August

All volunteers will receive a lunch and coffee voucher, an official AU T-shirt, and access to free parking (limited spots available).
