Student Volunteer of the Year Award

The University of South Australia Student Volunteer of the Year Award has been established to recognise outstanding volunteerism by a current student within the community and/or on campus.

The Award recipient will have made a significant contribution to the wider community and/or campus life through volunteering.

Value:

  • $1,000 (in the form of a voucher)

Ambassadorial duties and opportunities:

  • Ongoing professional development e.g. effective communication, presentation skills etc.
  • Participation in media profiles and interviews
  • Representing UniSA at volunteering-related public speaking engagements

Nominations:

To be considered for the Award you must be nominated by someone e.g. member of staff, fellow student, representative from a community organisation. You are not able to self-nominate, but are encouraged to approach someone to nominate you if you believe you meet the selection criteria and have made an outstanding contribution to campus life and/or the community through volunteering.

A selection panel will review applications against the selection criteria. Interview may be required if there are a large number of strong nominations.
