UniSA invites you to join STEM Student Connect, a representative council that provides you with the opportunity to contribute to decisions that affect UniSA STEM students at the Mawson Lakes and City East campuses.

Why should I become a Student Connect representative?

  • Include your voice in decisions within UniSA STEM
  • Practice and improve your leadership and communication skills
  • Gain access to professional development opportunities

What are my duties as a Student Connect representative?

  • Student Connect representatives still have the opportunity to make suggestions in order to improve the student experience. Their  suggestions will be forwarded to the Unit Executive group.
  • Student Connect representatives will provide feedback and ideas related to key campus initiatives
  • Student Connect representatives will collect feedback from current STEM students and then report it back at the Student Connect meetings
  • The Student Connect group will meet four times per academic year

Who can apply?

Any current UniSA STEM student who wants to help students have a voice in important decisions and improve their leadership skills can apply. We are looking to have at least one representative from each undergraduate and postgraduate program.

How can I apply?

Please email your name, program, current year of study and why you want to be a representative for your program to studentconnect@unisa.edu.au.

If you don’t have the time to be involved, but still want to add your voice to the conversation, you can do so by speaking to a Student Connect representative on your campus or in your program. To contact the Student Connect Project Officer please  email studentconnect@unisa.edu.au
