Overseas study tours and pre-service teacher placements

PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19, all international travel on university business and/or study tours is suspended until further notice. Find out more

UniSA education and teaching students have the exciting opportunity to enhance their studies through study tours and practicums in international destinations. These tours involve a range of learning opportunities, including classroom observation and teaching, intensive language studies, peer mentoring, cultural activities, socialising with students and native language speakers, and day trips to significant sites. Past study tours have seen UniSA students visit a range of countries including China, France, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines and Vietnam.

Study tours are a great way to gain an appreciation of education in an international setting, and provide valuable opportunity for comparison and reflection on the cultural complexities within education systems internationally.

Study tours can be funded via the University, or can be self-funded.
