This page lists resources available to all UniSA students to support your learning and technology needs, provide financial support, and enhance your health, safety and wellbeing. Our goal is to ensure you continue to engage, learn and succeed in your studies.

  • UniSA Out-of-Hours Crisis Line: 1300 107 441 or text 0488 884 163. Available 5.00pm-9.00am on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends and public holidays.

Please note UniSA counselling services (including our crisis line) are only available to students studying onshore in Australia.

  • Explore our vast online library collection available anytime anywhere on any device including journal articles, eReadings, ebooks and streaming media to support your studies and research.
  • Look through our extensive range of library online guides including interactive subject guides, assignments helps, and ‘how to’ guides designed to help you with your assignments.
  • Find out more about our referencing roadmap – your online guide to referencing.
  • Visit Study Help, a self-help online hub packed with resources on assignment writing, referencing, study skills, Maths help and more.

Spaces and equipment

Campus libraries

  • Access to our campus libraries (including 24/7 access to our city-based Jeffrey Smart Building) which have all been reconfigured to adhere to the government's social distancing guidelines.
  • Resources available include Wi-Fi, PCs, individual bookable study rooms, powered study carrels, kitchen facilities, AV spaces and silent study areas. All spaces and equipment are cleaned twice daily.
  • PCs, printers and scanners are available at each campus library as well as power, desks and wifi to study with your own device.

Support and services

  • Our virtual Ask the Library service is available via online chat, email, or phone:

    8.30am – midnight Monday to Friday
    10.00 am – 6.00pm weekends and public holidays
  • IT Helpdesk is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Online resources

  • A large range of software is available to download for on and off-campus study at no cost including Office 365, EndNote, Skype for Business and One Drive.
  • The UniSA student app is available for free on apple and android devices, and is a one-stop-mobile-shop hosting a range of services and resources to help with your studies. Top features include your next three classes, next three assignments, a list of current courses, study room bookings, as well as library card and campus information.
  • The free UniSA Safe Zone app connects you directly to the UniSA Security team should you need our assistance or emergency support while you are on campus.
  • Get free access to LinkedInLearning and choose from more than 5000 video courses on technology, creativity, business and career skills.
