The Commonwealth Government is replacing the existing Commonwealth Scholarships scheme with two new scholarships - the Student Start Up Scholarship and the Relocation Scholarship. These two new scholarships are administered by Centrelink and will be paid to students in higher education to assist with the costs of studying and living away from home. Students don't need to apply for these scholarships - they will be paid directly to eligible Centrelink customers.

Students who receive the CECS-Indigenous Enabling or CAS-Indigenous Enabling and progress to an undergraduate degree will have up to four years of access to Indigenous-CECS or Indigenous-CAS if eligible.
