> Appeal to the Preclusion Appeals Committee against Preclusion (Online Form)

Students of the university should complete a request to the Preclusion Appeals Committee, where you do not agree with the Program Director's decision to preclude you from your studies due to unsatisfactory progress, and you wish to request that the Preclusion Appeals Committee review this decision.

> Appeal to Student Appeals Committee Against Preclusion (Online Form)

Students of the university should complete a request to the Student Appeals Committee to review the decision of the Preclusion Appeals Committee to preclude you from your studies, on the grounds that:

  • the policy and/or procedures for academic review were not correctly observed, or
  • evidence is now available that supports your previous claims made in defence of your case. The evidence must be from the time period up to the date the case was heard by the Preclusion Appeals Committee, and must not have been available at the time the decision was made.

This form is a request to the Student Appeals Committee to review a decision of Academic Misconduct made by a formal inquiry committee, convened by the Executive Dean of the relevant Academic Unit.

> Request to Executive Dean for Review of Final Grade (Online Form) 

This form should only be lodged where:

  • you do not accept the final grade in a course (not a research notation), and
  • you have already consulted the Course Coordinator and the dispute is unresolved.

> Appeal to Student Appeals Committee against Review of Final Grade (Online Form)

This form can only be lodged where you:

1.  have fulfilled all of the assessment requirements, including any attendance requirements, and

2.  have exhausted all of the avenues for resolving the appeal as per below:

  • discussed the matter with the relevant Course Coordinator
  • appealed to your Executive Dean, and

3.  are appealing on the grounds that:

  • assessment policies and procedures in the University’s Assessment Policies and Procedures Manual were not adhered to, or
  • the Course Coordinator did not give due consideration to your requirements in the assessment process leading to the final grade, after they had been formally notified of your requirements in accordance with UniSA’s provision for students with disabilities

> Appeal to Student Appeals Committee against Suspension of Candidature (PDF)

This form is a request to the Student Appeals Committee to review a decision of Suspension of Candidature made by a Formal Review of Academic Progress panel, convened by a Dean of Graduate Studies.

> Appeal to Student Appeals Committee against Research Misconduct (PDF)

This form is a request to the Student Appeals Committee to review a decision of Research Misconduct made by a Formal Inquiry panel, convened by a Dean of Research (or delegate) of the relevant Academic Unit.
