What credit can I claim for the Bachelor of Accounting?

*This question is specific to OUA students only*

You may be eligible for credit towards the Bachelor of Accounting if:

  • You have completed previous TAFE /TAFE equivalent study at Certificate IV level or above within the last 10 years
  • You have undertaken previous university study within the last 10 years

If you can substantiate that you have kept skills in your previous studies current in your occupation the 10 year rule can sometimes be waived.  You would need to provide a statement from your employer with your credit application.

Credit is not granted for work experience. Credit for the Bachelor of Accounting is valid for a period of 10 years from the date it is first granted.
