About the Aboriginal Admission Access
The Aboriginal* Admission Access (AAA) is designed to increase the participation of Aboriginal people into the University of South Australia by providing choices to Undergraduate programs.
The AAA is an alternative pathway for students to gain entry to UniSA who do not meet the criteria through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) application process, and who may not have an adequate Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) score.
Eligibility
This is only available to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants.
Wirringka Student Services supports a fair and equitable admission process and you must successfully meet all the necessary requirements to enter the Aboriginal Admission Access with the University of South Australia.
Completion of the application form does not guarantee acceptance.

How the Aboriginal Admission Access works
After applying to study an UniSA course, applicants shall receive a phone call/email from an Aboriginal Student (and Community) Engagement Officer to discuss the next steps.
For applicants applying for courses that considers an ATAR as part of the selection criteria, you may be required to undertake the ACER/UniSelect literacy and/or numeracy quizzes to assess your level of knowledge. Upon completion you may be invited to attend an informal interview that forms part of the selection criteria, allowing UniSA selection staff to consider the relevant life, work, educational and training experience as preparation for study, as well as any formal qualifications, and if the applicant should be admitted into the course (degree/qualification).
Applicants will still be required to meet all course prerequisites and any extra requirements as listed for the course you are applying for. In courses that select using a range of criteria (for example folio), the folio you submit will be considered alongside the informal interview to determine potential to succeed in the course. The selection process is non-competitive, meaning applicants are not assessed against other applicants when determining a selection outcome.
Should you not be offered your first preference on this occasion, the selection staff shall offer alternative pathways for you to consider.
