Joint Research Centres

Funding for Virtual Centres which link Australian and Chinese research institutions conducting a portfolio of research related activities in a specified field of research. TBA

- Indo-Australian Science and Technology Fund
- Indo-Australian Biotechnology Fund

Helps Australian researchers from public and private sectors to participate with Indian scientists in leading-edge scientific research projects and workshops.

NHMRC Centres of Research Excellence

Providing support for teams of researchers to pursue collaborative research and develop capacity in clinical, population health and health services research.

Synergy Grants

Providing a fixed amount of $5 million over five years to support the most outstanding multidisciplinary teams of investigators to work together to answer major research questions, that cannot be addressed by a single investigator or discipline, for the improvement of human health.
