Welcome to our new students, who have just attended their Orientation last week, and welcome back to those who are continuing their studies in 2022. We also are thrilled to finally welcome our international students to South Australia.
We are excited to begin providing on campus events such as Campus Fair, and in-person classes and services such as Campus Central, and the Library. Please note, our student support services are currently available virtually and will recommence in-person in April 2022.
A
reminder to all UniSA students, staff and visitors that facemasks are required on campus in all indoor settings. You can keep up to date on this, and all other FAQ’s via AskCampus Central.

Introducing Franco, the Student Ombud
|
|
Franco is the UniSA Student Ombud. Not sure what an Ombud does? An Ombud is an independent, impartial, confidential service that is there if you need to discuss a problem that you haven’t been able to resolve locally.
So, just in case you experience any problems: 1. For academic matters, talk to your course coordinators and program directors first 2. If you need advocacy help, contact USASA advocacy 3. If you want to log a concern, use the complaints and feedback portal 4.
If all else fails, check out the Student Ombud homepage, email or give Franco a call

Start the year off right and help improve student mental health

Researchers are looking for students to participate in a trial of a new online program to improve mental health and wellbeing. You’ll get to learn some helpful tips for managing stress and improving health.
Participation only takes 5-10 minutes, per week for six weeks. You’ll be required to complete four brief surveys during the trial, and if you complete them all – you could go in the draw to win one of 10 $100 gift cards!
