Note: The Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 (SA) was assented to on 18 July 2017 with a commencement date to be announced. Upon its commencement, this Act will repeal the Children’s Protection Act 1993 and is intended to ensure that keeping children and young people safe from harm is paramount.
